Infants and Toddlers
Montessori Education for Small Bodies & Big Minds
Come experience the Montessori method in action.
Our infant and toddler classrooms welcome children from 6-weeks old to three years old. Children make the transition from infant to toddler depending on their own unique development.
Our infant and toddler program is focused on providing meaningful experiences that embrace natural development in a loving home-like environment.
Respect, in terms of Montessori education, has different meaning at every plane of development—including for infants and toddlers. What does it look like to respect a infant? Our focus is on communicating respectfully with children, even if they're non-verbal.
Our guides respect the natural development of your child. For instance, you won't walk into our infant room to see children in saucers or high-chairs. Until children are old enough to sit on their own and feed themselves, we delicately hold them in our laps to feed them, talking to them and teaching them through the entire experience.
Our understanding of your child's brain development, motor coordination, and natural ability to soak up knowledge from the environment lead us to care for your child in a way that most other daycare centers just can't.
In our program, your child will explore their environment, learn independence, and experience music, dance, art, and true freedom.
