Fun stuff is cooking in the kitchen! This morning, Ms. Joanne’s Lower Elementary class peeled, chopped, and spread as they put together their tortilla funny faces. This is just one example of the culinary exploration we’re enjoying this week. We’ve learned about measuring, following a recipe and made lots of yummy treats each day – fresh fruit smoothies, fruit popsicles, tortilla fun faces, and pizza!
Are you looking for something fun for your children to do next week? Our Earthtime Camp starts Monday, June 23rd and we still have space available for Children’s House and Elementary! All are welcome, so even if you aren’t already a student, we’d still love for you to get in touch.
Earthtime focuses on the environment and how it affects all living things. We will learn how to be “Stewards” of the Earth as we learn our responsibility for caring for the environment. We will learn how to protect our Earth and its natural renounces while having lots of fun! Also, we will create arts and crafts and other useful items from recycled materials!
Call Ashley at (757) 547-7673 to register for Earthtime! Bring your friends!! 🙂
